Someone more knowledgeable can chime in but looking on Google, it would appear the adaptor in the Ebay listing would be suitable for the D-25 (negative center).
Not sure if upping to the rated input voltage of 9V would solve your issue, but all of the D-25s I've picked up as broken suffer a seized optical pickup on its worm gear. Some have seized gear(s) between the pick-up motor to the wormgear drive gear. Add some lubricant / lithium grease to free the mechanism up. And chances are, if you replace all of the old electrolytic caps on the PCB, most of your problems can be solved.
Regardless, do pick up the 9V adaptor anyways. |
