My newly acquired D90 is working fine after replacing most of the aluminum capacitors (only three behind the LCD were not replaced). However, the left channel volume is really low. I have replaced with the new VR but the problem remains. However, the line-out volume does not have this problem (L/R channel is normal when I connected the line-out to my portable headphone AMP)? Does the line out share the same AMP chip with the headphone? or if the DDB/MB chip got bad?

D90 and D99 have diff PCB and audio circuit design. What you should do is not only replacing all of the caps but also you'll clean the PCB area polluted by leaking caps, especially underneath of the earphone chip I believe is the M51568 or BA3570. Why not all caps replaced?
