I bought a SONY D-25S, and did some repairs. It has a KSS-221A pickup in it, which I have never seen before.
I don't have any information about this pickup.
Is it an original pickup?

The original laser should be KSS165A. Your 221 should be replaced by previous owner recently. However, all these lasers like 165, 167A, 220, 221 are compatible, means you can swap any of them with no issue.
