CD motor spindle holder broke!

I was trying to replace the motor in my D555 and despite my care, the little plastic-and-metal "spinner" the CD sits on so the motor can spin it shattered on me!

Is there anywhere to get one, or a suitable replacement part?

Sure.

Here are some of it as it is now.

I've taken it to a repair guy who tried to reassemble it already (it doesn't glue back together properly).

I also tried some aliexpress replacements that looked and measured similarly, but they don't centre the top clamp properly and the whole thing is unstable and has too much friction with those in place.

The aliexpress ones that grip the CD themselves (e.g. don't need the top clamp) are too thick it seems - the laser can't lock onto the disk properly.

Anyway, here's the current state of the thing:
