Hi,

I've recently picked up a D-321 and there is no sound on the left headphone channel.  Beeps sound good on both channels though.  Looking at the SMs found on this site (thanks!) it looks like I should consider replacing C106?

Here are some other observables:
- Line out works well

- AVLS in OFF position produces almost no sound
- Moving the AVLS switch from OFF -> 2 produces a slight bit of sound on the left channel
- AVLS positions appear to work all right on right channel depending on volume level

Thoughts?  I don't have a oscilloscope (only DMM).

Thanks.

Thanks!  I'll go ahead and change out those capacitors!

I'll also look into the LA4534 - that may be a secondary project after I get the headphone stuff working!

So I am finally getting around to doing this.  I'm not electronics savvy but I understand that in most cases one should not replace capacitors with a different capacitance than specified, but in this application, can I replace the two 330uF 2V caps. with 470uF 6.3V caps?

I don't have a Al. Elect. 330uF with the appropriate dimensions on hand, while the 470uF will fit.
