Fast spinning disc in service mode

Hi Kaosun,

I am servicing a D-303 and when pressing play in service mode the disc spins at normal speed at first but then quickly comes up to high speed. What could this indicate?

My understanding is that if focus is not found, the lens will go up and down to try and find focus.

If in normal mode it runs like this, probabaly DSP issue.
