D515 no laser

A D515 dosen't read disc. Inspection indicates the laser doesn't work and no beam emits. After measuement, a dual transistor Q452 (xn4504) is found broken. Later it's replaced.
There're a few SMT 220uf caps are also replaced. Can you find them?

My D515 have same issues,when I open the machine found that Q452 was
burn down , I have try to replaced Q452 (xn4504),but fail still not working no laser beam come out , would you please give me some idea?  thankyou for your support.

Just follow the post and check them step by step to see what else is down. Are you sure you replaced an identical XN4504?

Today I had replaced another XN4504 still not working . when I plug in power with origin sony 9V power supply . I  smell bad  than found it XN4504 burn out again .  would you have any idea or suggestion ? thankyou for your support .

If your XN4504 burn out, pls check Q451 XN4601 which is a PWM driver. If it shorted inside, it'll output DC to your xn4504 so that it dies.

Waiting long long time for XN4601 and arrived yesterday,I had replaced XN4504 and XN4601 ,after replacment everthing ok but the laser still not beam on. Anyway I will recheck again and come back will you .

After reinstall all XN-4504 and Xn4601 and SMD220UF Cap ,the machine now work fine

Hi Kaosun, my IC504 pin 10 (vout) don’t have 4v, do you know where is the problem on it? Vcpu have 2v and it cause not laser out. Thanks
